Who am I?
I see myself as a curious person.
I’ve always been obsessed with understanding how things work. How is this tech created? How does
it work? That naturally led me to think creatively and push boundaries. I pride myself on being
an out-of-the-box thinker.
I search, I research. I solve and resolve. I try – sometimes fail – but I always retry. I
believe there is always something new to learn and improve on, and that mindset fuels my
journey.
Consistent improvement is something I deeply value and practice.

My Technical Journey
My passion for problem-solving led me into the world of AI and Machine Learning. Over the years, I’ve
gained hands-on experience with technologies such as Python, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and PyTorch,
enabling me to build intelligent systems. I’ve become particularly interested in large language
models, working with tools like Langchain and Llamaindex, fine-tuning models to solve real-world
challenges.
Lately my focus is open source: I maintain three Python libraries on PyPI
(sinhaladate,
slnic,
tokscope), published a
Sinhala tokenizer on Hugging
Face, and study how AI infrastructure treats low-resource languages like Sinhala.
I’ve also developed expertise in web development, using FastAPI and Flutter to create full-stack
applications. Whether it's implementing backends with MySQL and MongoDB or designing front-end
solutions, I aim to make technology accessible and impactful.
